advancis announced today the release of version 2 of its digital brochure for PDAs. The release brings new video and bookmark features designed to enhance the user experience. It also brings the PDA brochure up to par with the computer-based version. Enhanced video capabilities | New in version 2 is the ability to play digitial brochure videos offline. Once users have closed their WiFi connections, they will still be able to enjoy all the brochure videos. The feature also gives more options to marketers when it comes to delivering multimedia brochures on PDAs. Now users, can download stand-alone video brochures directly on their PDAs while surfing the Internet using the device's web browser. Smart bookmarks | The new digital brochure feature a more advanced indexing technology similar to the ones found in the advancis computer-based brochures. This greatly enhances the user experience as he/she can easily navigate the brochure via a very simple and intuitive interface. Intuitive interface | To maximize the amount of time users spend on the brochure, the new version can be operated in a way that comes naturally to every user: 1) using the PDA's stylus pen or finger directly on the screen. 2) using the PDA's scroller and navigator buttons. No software to install | To simplify the experience, the brochure include everything the user needs to read to the document and view the videos. OS compatibility | The PDA digital brochure is compatible with devices running Windows CE 2002, 2003, 2005. Such devices include PocketPCs, PDAs, and certain smart phones.
